Rotational lining is a process in which fluororesin powder is placed inside an STS304-formed product and rotated biaxially under heat. As the fluororesin melts, creating a seamless lining layer. Regardless of product size, shape, or lining thickness, a uniform 1-bake, 1-ply lining is formed, resulting in products with excellent durability and corrosion resistance.
Samil Flontech operates the largest rotational lining equipment in Korea, enabling the production of large-scale components as well as high-volume manufacturing.
Features
Seamless Integral Lining
SUPERFLON products manufactured through rotational lining are formed as a single, seamless lining without joints. This makes them the optimal solution for applications such as exhaust systems under negative pressure, vacuum lines, drainage pipes exposed to impact, and tank lorries.
Thick-Layer Lining Performance
Compared to powder coating, rotational lining enables the formation of significantly thicker lining layers, exceeding 1,000 µm and up to 10,000 µm in thickness.
Applicable to All Shapes(Efficient process improvement and innovative cost reduction)
Rotational lining can be applied even to complex piping shapes, while minimizing the number of flange joints. This reduces potential risk points and lowers maintenance requirements.
